Parveen Babi’s total dependence on her men is well known. A dependence which was constantly denied to her, eventually led to a sick, bitter change of heart, mind and soul. Money became a passionate obsession and Parveen went on quote recently to say: “You should possess a lot of money. It is a very important factor in life.”
Even if she had to trample on other’s feelings or put up a hypocritical front- she was all out for it with a vengeance. And at one time this very Babi had nonchalantly shrugged her shoulders on anything ‘money’. For then she had lived on Danny Denzongpa, Kabir Bedi, Mahesh Bhatt, Guy Davies and LOVE.

Now, love for her has become a temporary affair to use and discard for her personal needs and her career. While for her career she used Amitabh Bachan, today her personal need is in the form of an Arab from Dubai called Abdul Ella. Whether it is love or not, it matters not, for she’s aware that Abdul Ella is madly in love with her and will do anything for her!

Parveen met Abdul Ella at a lavish party hosted by Cookie Bhatia, the rich businessman from Dubai, who runs a chain of departmental stores in the larger Gulf countries. Abdul was immediately attracted to Parveen, but unfortunately for him, she at that time, was passionately involved with a jockey-sized effeminate man called Guy Dabies. Guy, who dealt in garment export, lived in five star hotels and wore four-inch-heeled snake-skin shoes, was also mad for Parveen. Although Abdul showed an interest in her, Parveen did not totally ignore it. “Parveen likes keeping her connections so that she can fall back on them whenever she needs them”, confided a close friend of Parveen’s.

Although Abdul is not good looking and is pockmarked, he is a very affectionate, loveable and charming man. Bearded, of medium height with a wheatish complexion, Abdul is in his late 30s. Industry people who know Abdul well say, “Abdul looks much younger than he is. He loves life and all the good things that go with it. He is a very happy-go-lucky person.”

They say that Abdul adores parties and socializing, which is one of the reasons why he keeps flying out to Bombay. Since Dubai has such a conservative atmosphere, Bombay is like Paris to him, say his friends. They also add that it’s never really been business, which he uses as an excuse each time. Reportedly, Abdul Ella works for the very reputable and well-bred multi-millionaire family, the Galagharis of Dubai. Although, Abdul has an electronic business, the reason behind Abdul’s visits has always been Parveen Babi. >>>>>
