This is what one flop hero, now a director, does to another flop hero. They make PYAR IMPOSSIBLE. With a gawky title as this, one is hardly even aroused to get up and waste a weekend around this trash. Jugal Hansraj has directed the movie, the second flop in a row for him after Roadside Romeo.
Abhay (Uday Chopra) is in love with the chic Alish (Priyanka Chopra) since his college days. Of course, Priyanka had better things to do even while in college than to just sit up and notice an average looking geek.
Things move to the next frame where Alisha is now in Singapore, a single mother, and working in a software company called Pinnalce. Abhay, a geek, has in the meantime developed a software that promises to unite all other softwares (don’t ask us how), when he is made an offer by Varun (Dino Morea), who ends up stealing and selling the software to a company in Singapore. Uday chases Varun and ends up playing nanny to Alisha’s daughter. The daughter in turn plays cupid to both. In the end, Uday exposes Varun with Alisha’s help, who works in the same company where Varun sold the software. So all’s well in the end and Uday gets the software and the girl, too.
The film looked like a silly ad which anyhow wanted to “showcase” Uday Chopra over various silly frames and songs. Jugal Hansraj did oblige Uday, alright, but it cost him the entire film in the end! Priyanka Chopra looks good, though a bit too made up for a grown up kid’s mom. Still, she held her ground well as an actor. Dino Morea looked like a victim of bad-casting than a business executive. The film has pathetic screenplay and nothing in it to hold you through. There’s even a Karz-like flash back song which the daughter sings to unite her mom, Alisha, and the gauche Uday.
