First of all, if I were a producer I would have never called my film Hastey-Hastey. Why? Simply because if it flopped, the most ridiculed thing about the movie would be its name! The last thing I would have wanted the audiences to remember would be its name! So I would have called it anything else but Hastey-Hastey! The film has some mystical connections and things defy logic, appearing out of nowhere. Jimmy Shergill studies at the Columbia University? (Yawn)?.and falls in love with Nisha Rawal. Due to some further confusion in the plot (or between characters) the lovers part briefly, before they unite, just to end the film, formally. Some people have unbeatable zeal. The Directors, Tony and Ramanjit Juneja had too. The film has music by Anu Malik, lyrics by Sameer and stars Jimmy Shergill, Rajpal Yadav, Nisha Rawal and Monishka.
