This is the story of Prem ( Ranbir Kapoor) who lives life on the simple belief of keeping everyone happy-himself, his friends and why, even the entire town! But every time this Santa Clause tries to make things work they backfire and somehow result in disastrous consequences. He obviously is the apple of his mother’s eye, yet a menace for his despairing father, who just wants him to grow up, finally! Now once such incident happens when he kidnaps Jenny (Katrina), which appears to be a goof up caused by a mistaken identity. Jenny is a sweet and simple girl who longs for love. In the name of family, all she has is a set of uncaring, indifferent foster parents. Jenny’s love is the only motivation for a Prem to change towards better and so he does. The film’s a romantic comedy and is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. Starring Katrina and Ranbir in lead roles, it also has a special appearance by Salman Khan along with Upen Patel, Asrani, Govind Namdeo, Darshan Jariwala, Navneet Nishan and Smita Jaykar. The music of the film is by Pritam and lyrics by Irshad Kamil and Ashish Pandit. AJAB PREM KI GHAZAB KAHANI is scheduled to release on 6th November 2009.
