The promos of RAJNEETI are playing on the various media and have successfully generated a lot of curiosity for the film. The film’s been directed by Prakash Jha and stars a bee line of A-list actors like Katreena Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shan, Nana Patekar, Manoj Bajpai and Arjun Rampal. Says Prakash Jha: “Yes we have a number of actors who play main roles in the film and all of them have a unique portrayal in the plot. The promos reveal only a glimpse of what these characters are and their relation to the world of politics.” Prakash Jha who has delivered two successful films, APHARAN and GANGAJAL, one after another, is now optimistic about RAJNEETI, too. Bearing a striking resemblance to Sonia Gandhi, Katrina Kaif, portrays a similar character in the film. The promos of RAJNEETI generated huge hits on you-tube, when they were released on the channel about three weeks back. Jha seems happy with the numbers and is confident of the final product too. RAJNEETI will also release in the first multiplex of Patna, P&M Mall, in Prakash Jha’s home state, Bihar. The mall, which is being developed by Prakash Jha himself, is under construction at the moment and is likely to open with Jha’s release RAJNEETI. The promos do give a glimpse of the intensity of the plot typical of Jha’s films. The final product is curiously awaited. The film releases all over on 28th May, 2010.
