The three year old cold war between Bollywood beauties, Bipasha Basu and Vidya Balan, finally gave way to some warmth, thanks to Bipasha. Apparently, the two actresses could not see eye to eye whenever they met. The cold shoulders began during the filming of Salaam-e-Ishq, with John starring opposite Vidya. Rumours were ripe that John and Vidya had not only a good chemistry on-screen, but also off-screen. On one such shoot during the making of the above said film, when John and Vidya were shooting a romantic scene under a dupatta, it is said that even after the director Nikhil Advani called a cut, the duo remained inside the dupatta for more than a minute after finally emerging out for public viewing. This enraged Bips who outcaste Vidya and dared John to maintain a five feet distance from here, if she were to ever come face to face. After that, the two beauties did cross each other’s path several times but refused to acknowledge each other’s presence in the same space. However, now the ice has been broken and this happened at a party thrown at a suburban hotel celebrating the success of All The Best. This time too, Vidya and Bips were in the same space but the vibes had changed, obviously. Bips went ahead and embraced Vidya warmly which immediately melted all the ice and whatever there was between them. Vidya was shocked but glad, while Bips said: “I never had problems with Vidya, although media was galore with our hate stories. I don’t change my attitude towards people according to them.” Well, Bips, this was sure one up….and here’s a toast to your chivalry too! Now no more “disappear”!!
