He had spit venom against his wife through the media and vowed never to forgive her and so on. After all that brouhaha, Om Puri took a U-Turn overnight and is now begging forgiveness from his wife and son Ishaan! Here’s the BIG QUOTE now: “I was very angry and admit that I said things I shouldn’t have said. I deeply regret my impulsive nature. It has hurt my wife and son Ishaan. Nandita has been bombarded with calls and even my son has come under the scrutiny. I have caused them much damage. Now I can’t focus on my work too. I don’t want my son to suffer for the mistakes that I have made, therefore I sincerely apologies to my wife and son.” Next, Om is upset with the book’s publishers for leaking out his sexual encounters to the media! “My anger should be directed at the publishers by trying to pre-sell my wife’s book by leaking out only the controversial portions of the book,” says Om now. Well, we don’t know who’s the real culprit, but together both husband and wife have been successful in giving the book that much needed publicity it was dying to get! Mission accomplished!
