All through the year her contemporaries hogged the limelight, and right when it was time to show up with a bang, Priyanka Chopra came up with her first release of the year, Love Story 2050. Being ripped apart completely by the critics, the cast and crew of the film are crying hoarse that it was a conspiracy against them. They preferred the 'We are the victims' tirade rather than a graceful acceptance of their mistakes. At a moment like this, fresh from the ouster, I met Priyanka Chopra. For someone who has always smiled warmly and greeted all with a hug, she seemed just not in the mood for anything. Working with a high temperature can kill hospitality, so I didn't bother pointing it out.... That or maybe the fact that I was amazed looking at her regaining her ravishing self! Body toned, make-up in place even at the end of a treacherous day, her spirits as high as her hems, she looked chic and ready to leave Love Story behind her.... While we would love that just the same, a few questions required some answers! Being her first release of the year, was it really smart to have let Harman Baweja take the stage and the focus while she stood behind and clapped for him? After all, this film was almost as much make or break for her, as mush as it was for her lead hero! And this opinion was based on her conduct at every promotion of the film, which was a LOT! Her wide-eyed look said she was going to refute this, and she did.... 'Rubbish! I had to be told to shut up! I really don't know when to keep quiet, I just go on talking! As for letting Harman hog the limelight, well, he was doing his part and I, my bit! No one tried to make way for the other and why should we?' Because people in love make way for each other... but then again, let's not forget they still are keeping it a 'secret'! Though, in today's day and age that?s as obsolete as the script of the latest sci-fi flick that hit the marquee and to think that Love Story took five writers to write it, makes me slip into depression..... Anyways, with so much flak around the film doesn't Priyanka see how she should not let her personal relationships affect her professional life?
