After creating ripples internationally with its record-breaking opening weekend collection, New Moon that released on Nov 20th across the world has achieved milestones never seen before. The movie has created a world-wide history through its box office collection of $140.7 million in US. After its phenomenal international success, PVR Pictures is all set to give New Moon one of the widest releases in India on 11th December. New Moon will be released in the country with over 300 prints and for the first time, PVR Pictures will be releasing a movie in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu as well. Titled as ‘Amavasya’ in Telugu and ‘Digilan’ in Tamil, New Moon with its wide release is expected to create a record-breaking stir in India, as well. The Twilight Saga has already become a blockbuster book release in India with over 3, 00,000 copies of the book that have been sold so far. Hachette India, the publisher of the Twilight series seem confident to add more copies to this number once the movie releases in India.
