Vijayta film's Chamku's music release was held on July 29. Dharmendra and his sons Sunny and Bobby along with the cast Priyanka Chopra, who was looking stunning, Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, Saawariya fame music director Monty Sharma and lyricist Sameer were present at the event. However, the remaining cast comprising Irrfan Khan, Danny Denzongpa and Riteish Deshmukh were absent. Even the film's director Kabeer Kaushik was missing, who reportedly was having problems with producer Sunny. The function was commenced by the lively emcee Anmol who invited the music team Monty Sharma, Sameer, lead starcast Bobby Deol, Priyanka Chopra, Bhushan Kumar and Divya Khosla Kumar. The invitees then spoke about the exceptional music of the film and their expectations from the film. Bobby Deol then went on to invite Sunny Deol on the dais who in turn invited veteran Dharamendra to share a few words on the film. After a few thoughts from Dharamji, the promos of the film were played before the audience.
